Privacy Policy - Pway Calc

Overview

Pway Calc is an offline railway engineering calculator for iOS and Android. It requires no account and stores no personal data on our servers. We collect a small amount of anonymous data to understand how the app is used and to verify in-app purchases. We never transmit or store your calculation inputs or results.

Information we collect

Anonymous usage analytics. We use PostHog to collect anonymised, aggregated data about how the app is used, such as which calculators are opened, how long a session lasts, and whether an in-app purchase screen was shown. Each install is identified only by a random, anonymous identifier that is not linked to your name, email, or any account. So we can diagnose issues and support different devices, analytics events also include your device model, operating system version, and app version. We do not use autocapture, and we do not record your screen. We never include your calculation inputs or results.

Purchase verification. Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) process all in-app purchases. We use RevenueCat to confirm which features you have unlocked. RevenueCat identifies your device only by an anonymous identifier and does not receive your name or email address. Apple or Google handle your payment details in full, and we never see them.

Optional feedback. If you respond to an in-app satisfaction prompt, we record your rating so we can improve the app. Responding is entirely optional.

Information we do NOT collect

- Your calculation inputs or results
- Camera, microphone, photos, or contacts

On-device settings

Your app preferences, such as theme, unit choices, and haptics setting, are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.

Pway Calc is a professional engineering tool intended for adults and is not directed at children.
